1. Overview & Acceptance
Welcome to Rentem. By accessing or using our platform, creating an account, or managing properties and rental agreements through Rentem, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3. Platform Services & Rental Data
Rentem provides tools for landlords, tenants, and property managers to manage properties, create agreements, track maintenance, and process payments. You retain ownership of all property and personal information you provide.
4. WhatsApp & Transactional Communications
By registering an account, submitting an access request, or providing a mobile telephone number on Rentem, you expressly agree and consent to receive non-marketing transactional notifications via WhatsApp (operated via Meta Platforms / WhatsApp Business API).
- Purpose & Categories: Notifications include rental agreement e-signature links, rent payment receipts, rent due & overdue reminders, UPI settlement details, and maintenance ticket progress.
- Frequency & Rates: Message frequency varies based on your rental activity and property transactions. Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier.
- Opt-Out Mechanism: You may opt out of automated WhatsApp transactional notifications at any time by replying "STOP" to any automated message or by contacting support at support@rentem.in.
5. Software Subscriptions & Web Checkout
Rentem platform subscriptions (including Starter, Pro, and Enterprise tiers) are sold, managed, and billed strictly through standard web checkout on https://rentem.in. Rentem does not bill or sell software subscription plans via native WhatsApp Catalogs or in-app WhatsApp digital storefronts.
6. Legally Compliant Data Collection
We collect and process personal and rental information strictly in compliance with applicable data protection laws and privacy standards. Collected data is strictly utilized to facilitate rental operations, verify identities, and provide secure access.
7. Limitation of Liability
Rentem provides its software platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Rentem is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from platform use.
